Captain's Log :: Review
I have loved almost every single book from J Daniels. Her Alabama Summer series has been one of my top ten favorite series for a long, long, long time. The wait for this book was excrutiating but oh man was it worth it.
Daniels brings a lot of insecurities, emotions, and a whole lot of heat in this book about CJ and Riley. They meet at her brother's wedding and are immediately attracted to each other. She's fresh off of a break-up, but dives in head first with CJ. It was fireworks. Flash! Boom! Bang! Wow.
When they return to reality, things get crazy and crazier. I'm not going into details, but they become friends, but her idea of friendship and his idea of friendship aren't the same (and it's hilarious). This book had some of best banter between characters that I've ever read.
This series is really up there in the steam factor. The sex is HOT AF and the chemistry hotter. I just LOVE this entire series and I can't wait to read the next one!
