Review: 

Staci has done it again. 

Seriously. 

Just when I think she's written her finest work ever, she one ups herself. 

After being emotionally batter and bruised after reading A Thousand Letters (SERIOUSLY GO READ IT!!!), this was exactly the balm needed to soothe the wounds. 

Bad Penny. Man, where do I start? Let's just go with how utterly humorous this book is. Jokes, funny situations, word play. This book has all the hilarity. 

Penny has got to be one of my most favorite heroines ever. She is independent with co-dependent tendencies. She is strong and a warrior and everything you love about female leads. 

Bodie knows what he wants and he knows how to get it. By being patient with Penny, he's getting results. Especially after he gets Penny to break her ridiculous 3 date rule (which he doesn't know anything about). He just knows that he wants her. 

Amid deadlines, weddings, work, and big plans, these two fall together. Of course, they have their ups and downs, but the way that Staci has written it, it's moving. She pulls at your heart while throwing humor in with despair. 

It is zero secret that I am a HUGE Hart fan and this hasn't changed at all. In fact, I applaud Staci for being able to continuously write some of the best books I've ever read. 

Giving this book anything less than five stars feels like a crime.

She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

Captain's Log :: Review
I absolutely love this writing duo. I read their book The Bartender and it was excellent and this one was equally excellent. 

I love the plot and how the characters find their way. I loved the growth, the emotions, just everything. 

The Boxer is an excellent book that I would very highly recommend.

I loved these delicious little bites that Staci has gifted us. These amazing, perfect little tiny stories that make you squirm in the best way possible.

This book was kind of like eating a chocolate chip cookie straight out of the oven: dangerously hot, but simply delicious.

Captain's Log :: Review

OH.
MY.
YESSSSS!!!!

First, I have to say that I love Molly. I love her words, her talent, and her always smiling face.
Second, Dash + Blake = 4 eva

I loved this book. It was just perfect. I loved how Edge of Chaos ended but I wanted more. A lot more. Edge of Bliss definitely gave me that "more" that I wanted.

There's a lot that can't be said in a review without *major spoilers* so I'll just say this as I do for almost every Molly book I've read: you can "see" what's happening as you read it. It's a very well written visualization. I read Molly's books like a person sees a movie. I can see the cast clearly, their interactions, their squabbles, the backgrounds, their emotions - just everything. She is so gifted at giving us these tiny tidbits so there's no blanks but plenty is left to our imaginations.

Part of me is sad that Dash and Blake's story is "over" but I'm mostly really glad that we got to go on this journey with these two characters.
