Captain's Log :: Review
This book was utterly hilarious. There were so many laugh out loud moments that I had to keep setting the story down to recover from my giggle fits. The horrendous dates. The bad pick up lines. The super cheesy, cliché dates. Man, this was such a great story.
Jake and Lizzie had a rough start, for sure, but how they got to where they ended up was the best part. I really liked their story and how it unfolded. I loved all the secondary characters and how they tied into previous books (don't worry - this is a COMPLETE standalone - but you should DEFINITELY check out Get Lucky!).
This story really had all the elements of rom coms that I absolutely adore and then some. I look forward to more from Lila Monroe!
