Another absolutely HILARIOUS story from Meghan Quinn. She never fails to make me laugh and swoon and sign with her work.
Witty banter? Check.
Swoon-worthy hero? Check.
Heroine with a heart of gold and patience of a saint? Check.
Due to her life's experience's, Melony has basically given up on ever being in love or finding love or even experiencing love. Enter Hollis. Hollis won't give up on her and is a persistent man in pursuit of what he wants. What he wants? That's Melony.
Each of the characters are defined by their pasts. Both of them are sad and unfortunate, but it's nothing they haven't strived to overcome. They both have demons but together, they fight them.
I have loved this entire series. All of the characters seem so real (it makes me legit sad that they aren't). If I could choose a group of fictional people to be my real life besties, I'd look no further than Reese, Bodi, and Hollis - and their girls. Duh.
