Review:
This book was incredibly hard to get into. I didn't really feel "involved" with the story until I reached about 45%. I don't know if it was because this is part of series (granted, of standalones) or the third person narrative, but I almost stopped reading it.
I feel like I'm just saying negative things about this book but there are a lot of good things, too. I liked how Wes's job played a huge part and how Annie's shop played its role. I liked how they finally ended up together via the auction. I liked how their friends and family played a huge role.
I didn't like all the unnecessary drama with their families. I can kind of see why his was important but I didn't see why hers was even mentioned.
I'm glad I read the book because I really enjoyed the last 20% or so.
