Review
This second-chance, friends to lovers romance had a fantastic heart to the story but the details weren't my cup of tea.
Likes:
-Their history. I loved their background and the foundations of their relationship. They were so close as friends and then they weren't. Several years later, he's back and she wants more than they had.
-Hayden's friends were a huge bonus to this book. They really livened things and kept me reading.
Dislikes:
-All of her back and forth. Yes, I want you. Nope, nevermind. My goodness, that got old quick.
-Unrealistic sex. I'll leave it at that because I don't do spoilers. I was like "that doesn't happen in real life" several times in this book. Yes, I understand it's fiction but I like realistic in my stories.
-I also didn't like her parents and their pressure on her to be something other than she wanted to be. That was odd and overbearing.
Overall Take Away:
This book wasn't terrible, it just wasn't really my thing. I would recommend it to a friend for sure but they'd have to want this kind of story.
