Wow.
This is my first book by this author but I'm sure I'll read more from her.
If I were asked to describe this book in one word it would be INTENSE. Just so intense. There was an obvious and instant chemistry between the two main characters almost immediately. They both tried to deny it and focus on their jobs but it wasn't very successful. When they came together, it was so passionate. He *wanted* her and she *wanted* him and they both *wanted* each other. It was palpable, their need - their desire.
This is my first book by this author but I'm sure I'll read more from her.

The hows and whys of how they came to be together were an interesting concept. I read why she was doing what she was doing and thought "NO! DON'T DO IT, EMMA!!" Especially after they had this amazing, instant attraction.
The big reveal was a little bit of a let down because I couldn't understand why she wouldn't be up front about it. He was the kind of guy that is extremely reserved so he should have been told that information right at the beginning. I was never able to discern why she would have kept it a secret. I am glad, though, that she wasn't able to follow through with the plan. I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when she back out.
Overall, this was a fantastic story. I liked the writing style and the characters a lot. I look forward to more in this series.
