Good golly, Miss Molly!

Wow. What an amazing journey. This book was an absolutely epic adventure. The prologue of this book was especially amazing. After reading that, there was NO WAY ON THIS PLANET that this book was going to be pushed aside. I read this carefully, which is rare for me. I wanted to savor this book. I wanted to devour every single word slowly, like a foodie would a Michelin top rated meal.
And devour it, I did.

The weight Easton carried with him was monumental. The way he kept it all to himself, denying himself the comfort he deserved, was heartbreaking. Keeping Rain at a distance all those years was his self imposed sentence. In exchange for his own self loathing, he pushed away probably the ONLY person who would have completely understood the circumstances.



Rain's heart was shattered all those years ago, so when Easton LITERALLY appears out of nowhere, she has to take a step back. She's an analyzer. She's logical. She's calculated (not in the scary, manipulative way). But of course, she accepts Easton's offer because it will challenge her the way she loves to be challenged.






Easton and Rain are far, far better together than they ever could be apart. They each bring out the best in each other's character and pushes the other person as they need to be pushed. Their love and support for one another is amazing - even after all those years apart.

Lastly, Molly has such an amazingly wonderful talent in her descriptions and the way she uses words. This is one of those books that reads like you would be watching a movie. You can see the settings. You can hear the dialogue. You can see the conflicts. Heck, you can practically smell all the smells. You can imagine this book on the big screen - and I'm all for that.

***FIVE HUGE STARS. If I could give this book a BILLION, I would. It is just THAT good.
