Full disclosure here: I almost didn't read this book. I got to chapter three and set my Kindle down because it didn't go how I thought it would. I was irrationally angry (hormones, man) so I talked it out with my husband and he said "you never know, their fate could be something you don't see coming" ... which was exactly how the story ended up going.
I loved it. I loved this book. I loved the emotion, the slow burn (in some ways), and how something as simple as stopping to ask questions got in their way. Why? Because that's how relationships really work. I loved the realism behind this couple. Their issues were real-life based and easily relateable.
I absolutely adored all of the secondary characters in this one.
Great story. Four.half stars!
